Dana was wonderful with Paige from the first hello. She sent a photo the moment they set off, kept me posted the whole way, and brought her home happy, brushed and completely worn out. She noticed Paige favouring a paw near the fountain, checked it, and told me before I even opened the app. The route she picked kept to the shady side of Bayshore, which matters for a golden in September. Booking again next week without a second thought - it is such a relief to hand over the leash and not worry once.
Thank you, Cara - this made my whole week. Paige is a dream on the leash: she sets the pace, and I just keep up. I stayed on the shady side of Bayshore because golden run warm in September, and we took the long way back so she could say hello to the herons by the seawall. I always check paws after the fountain path, so I am glad that was useful rather than alarming. Her harness is back on the hook by your front door. See you both next Tuesday - I will bring those peanut treats she liked so much.
